Starry Night Atlanta (2:00 pm - 9:00 pm)
Join us for the first Starry Night Atlanta! This is one in a series of events the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is launching in major cities across the country. Join us to fundraise for this 8.5K walk/run to shine a light on the 28,000 American children living with a brain tumor.
When: November 8, 2014
Where: Centennial Olympic Park, Southern Co. Amphitheater
Map: Google Map
Registration at 2:30 - 3:30pm. Walk/run starts at 4:00pm
Join us to light Atlanta’s nighttime sky with lanterns to symbolize our hope for a cure. Starry Night Atlanta will raise funds for research to combat more than 100 types of childhood brain tumors, and will support the GA Chapter of PBTF and services for families at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
The walk/run can be completed individually or as a two-person relay. The evening also features a 50-yard dash, other activities for kids and local entertainment. Plus, we’ll highlight the story of a child with a brain tumor diagnosis and honor a local childhood brain tumor hero.
