Butterfly Fund

Our financial assistance program, the Butterfly Fund, offers direct financial assistance to qualified families of children treated at specific hospitals (see list below). Our fund typically helps with household expenses (i.e. mortgage/rent, utilities, phone, car payments) that a family may not be able to afford due to missed work/loss of employment associated with diagnosis as well as travel costs associated with treatment, medical items not covered by insurance, and funeral expenses.

Applications are only accepted through a social worker at the treatment facilities listed below:

  • All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida
  • Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, Florida
  • Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi
  • Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (both campuses) in Atlanta, Georgia
  • Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana
  • Children’s Hospital at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama
  • Columbus Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia
