Volunteer at BTFC

You don't have to be a brain surgeon to help a child with a brain tumor...

Are you looking for a way to get involved?

Your time and talent could make a difference in our service to the pediatric brain tumor community.

As a nonprofit organization, the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children relies heavily on the support of volunteers to perform its work.

How You Can Help...

Office/Secretarial Support in the BTFC office: Help with filing, answering phones, making calls, data entry, preparing letters, etc. Some tasks can also be done from home.
Fundraising: Assist with our annual fundraising events such as: Flight of the Butterflies (early spring), "J. Smith Lanier & Co. Charity Classic to Benefit the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children," (early May golf tournament) and William's Walk & Run (early November). There are many ways to help at the events.
Grant writing: Do you have experience writing grants for nonprofits? We need you!
Family Support: Assist with planning exciting activities and outings for BTFC kids and their families.
Public Relations/Marketing: Help spread the word out about the good work of the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children. Join us on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. You can also check out our blog.
If you are interested in helping in any of these areas, or in some other way not listed here, contact us. We would love to hear from you.
